Such as a nose ring and a Marilyn Monroe piercing..Would I be able to work in a hospital with a facial piercing?
It depends upon the hospital and it depends upon the job you'd be doing at the hospital.
Some hospitals will not allow any piercings at all, including ear rings....period. Others will allow them if your job does not require you to be in physical contact with patients...reason...your own safety as well as the patient's safety. Patients have been known to (intentionally and unintentionally) rip out anything they can get their hands on, especially if they are writhing in pain. Some have been known to fling the ripped out jewelery or even swallow it or gouge their eyes with it.
How do I know this? I used to instruct at a school that trained medical assistants.....as an added note, it's not a good idea to show up at an interview for any job, especially one at a hospital, wearing any piercings except NON-DANGLING ear rings.Would I be able to work in a hospital with a facial piercing?
YES! laduh
sure, you could be the clown
Yes, you will be able to...unless you scare the patients..but I doubt that would happen...much.
