Do facial peels cause wrinkles to form more quickly?

Do facial peels (for example, Untimate Facial by Cosme Search, Inc) actually caise wrinkles to form more quickly? I know that a good facial peel, without burning, leaves the fresh, young layer of skin to come through, put does this encourage the wrinkles to form more?Do facial peels cause wrinkles to form more quickly?
No, I don't know where you heard that.

Facial Peels reduce fine lines.

If your still worried, you could try a microderm abrasion product. Or go see an facialist. :)Do facial peels cause wrinkles to form more quickly?
No they do not. There is no logic to your thinking that. One of the causes of wrinkles is repeatedly wrinkling the skin - and that is why smokers get heavily wrinkled around the mouth. So to prevent re-occurance it is better to be aware of this and other habitual habits like frowning a lot. Simply stopping will prevent causing more wrinkles.

There are a number of possible complications associated with laser resurfacing, chemical peels, and dermabrasion. These include, but are not limited to, redness during recovery, hyperpigmentation (dark spots), hypopigmentation (light spots), thinning of the skin (which will expose underlying structures such as pimples, vessels, etc.), scarring, visual disturbances, itching, tingling, pain, and environmental sensitivity (to sun or bright light, dust, makeup, soap, clothing, etc.). Some of these can be permanent. In order to make a well-informed decision as to whether or not you wish to undergo one of these procedures, you should discuss the risks with your an informed doctor. and do other research..
No. As long as you take care of your skin afterword.

Can I use cooking Almond oil for facial use as if like in facepacks or directly at face?

The almond oil i bought is from Daily Fresh brand.I bought it for facial purpose but now i donno if it`s a cooking almond oil cause the label doesn`t say anything. So is it ok if i use it for my face(by the way i `ve a sensitive skin but i`ve been using this oil for a few days now but no side effects occured)........????Can I use cooking Almond oil for facial use as if like in facepacks or directly at face?
well as far as i think almond oil isn't be used in cooking so u can going on use it even if it is a cooking oil cauz any cooking oil like coconut oil, mustard oil, olive oil etc could be used on skin as well.however the brand u've mentioned in ur question i dont know it's quality but if u really want to buy a genuine almond oil go for Dabur's Rogan Baadam Shirin this is the best available in market. Can I use cooking Almond oil for facial use as if like in facepacks or directly at face?
I am thinking that you should not....if the oil is indicated for cooking it probably is not free from bacteria and you should only use products that are pharmacutical grade not food grade...cosmetic grapeseed oil is great for skin...

What facial cleanser will work the best for me?

i have sensitive, dry skin and have whiteheads. what facial cleanser will work the best for me? it has to moisturize my skin too. What facial cleanser will work the best for me?
Whatever brand you decide to use, make sure it reads for sensitive skin and then follow up with the face moisturizer that goes with that cleanser. Dont mix brands. Stay within the same line. This goes for both the guys and the girls.

Guys also need protection from the deadly toxins in our environment and sunscreen and moisturizer. What facial cleanser will work the best for me?
the only way is to go to the store and look around at all the products

just make sure it says sensitive skin on the cleanser or ask someone that works there

My facial expression never changes and I have a hole in my forehead?

Can anyone suggest a remedy? My facial expression never changes and I have a hole in my forehead?
try working on smiling or changing ur emotions every day.My facial expression never changes and I have a hole in my forehead?
melt yourself in a mocrowave....then you will just be a blob of plastic!!
fill the hole
JB Weld (epoxy) for the hole. Face paint to hide it and to make a smile or frown, whatever fits your mood.
Melt Yourself all the way, You have to; it'll be awesome!
yes, yes, melt yourself!

What facial moisturizer doesn't make your face oily?

Every time i use a facial moisturizer my face gets really oily, but the dryness never actually goes away. Any suggestions? What facial moisturizer doesn't make your face oily?
It is likely that you skin is not getting moisturised properly that is why your skin is still dry. You should use a light moisturiser with SPF during the day time and a slightly heavier one (without SPF) at night. Exfoliate twice a week. Use a cleanser and toner once a day.

Drink lots of water. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. What facial moisturizer doesn't make your face oily?
I have the same problem. I use Aveeno Clear Complexion. The acne medicine they use helps maintain clear skin while keeping my face acne free, and moisturized without the oily residue a lot of the other brands tend to leave.
Mary Kay works awesome! It makes your face soft, but not oily. Must try!!
I use Clinique and it works really well.
I use Proactive and Clinque. They are great. I love them!

what products do i buy ? how do i use them , in what order ?

thanksWhat facial products can a prematurly aged 31 year old buy and use?
Many skincare products and most anti aging products are skin harming and skin aging. Some even cause acne and worse and have been pulled from market, notably in France, because of cancer causing concerns (confirm with searches on Answers.Com). Any product that you simply apply to skin is going to do very little, if anything at all. So they really are a waste of money. You need something more intensive.

I have had truly remarkable success with safe, natural treatments using only modest cost essential oils and massage. This not only permanently rid me of many skin conditions but healed my damaged and aged skin and eventually gave me a virtually flawless, healthy, young looking and vibrant skin. Oils feed and nourish skin with many beneficial and health restoring nutrients. Even the first day your skin will look healthier and revitalized and will have a healthy glow.

Massage quite vigorously. Don't be afraid of doing that. There is no pulling/stretching of skin if you first tighten face muscles.

Massage using a forward and back motion with finger tips and front and sides of fingers depending where on face you apply. Circular motion is less effective. In a few days skin will visibly tighten, look and feel smoother and healthier and rejuvenated. And pores will have greatly reduced.

I can send you testimonials from users who swear by the treatment. Use any oil. I had great success with olive oil.

Recently i have begun to grow a ridge of hair from my belly button up to my chest and it seems to be getting thicker. does this mean i will also get more hair on my face? It seems strange that this is happening at my age. Has anyone else experienced this. It would be great to be able to grow sideburns finally. Does gaining weight have any effect on facial features?

I.e., a teen would weigh 130 pounds, then put on weight, muscle/fat to get to around 180. Could the gain of weight cause a nose/ears to increase in size, or appear smaller. I've always wondered this. Thanks.Does gaining weight have any effect on facial features?
yes, possibly. but that's because if your cheeks got bigger your other facial features would look smaller.Does gaining weight have any effect on facial features?

Dose then NHS allow anyone to have facial moles removed?

Yes no? If its on a certian condition can u let me know?Dose then NHS allow anyone to have facial moles removed?
The NHS will remove any mole if it is at high risk of turning into anything more sinister (if decided by ur doctor) i.e cancer. They may also remove for cosmetic reasons if ur doctor agrees that it affecting ur self-esteem etc. But I dont think they have to remove them for this reason.

What is the purpose of men having facial hair and women having none or very little?

Women don't need any because of their natural beauty.

Should i use Complete Defense Daily UV Facial Moisterizer SPF 30?

My face is dry under my eyes and oily everywhere else. I want this product to help fight the blemish's on my face and to make my skin softer. I don't want to waste my money on something else that doesn't work.Should i use Complete Defense Daily UV Facial Moisterizer SPF 30?
The thing about using a moisturiser with a SPF in it is the SPF doesn't let any of the other ingredients through to your skin. The SPF molecules are way too big for any of the other things to get through, it is a physical block so really you will be wasting your money and better off getting something with similar ingredients in but not the SPF. I am a skin specialist and own a spa so I have plenty of experience with products and the advantage of inside knowledge when it comes to technologies of skincare. Good luck and happy shopping!!!!

How to grow more chest hair and facial hair.?

Is it normal for a 15 year old guy to have so much less hair ,all my classmates look like adults.

Help me is there any way .?How to grow more chest hair and facial hair.?
Don't worry it will come in time. Besides the smooth look is in. You get really tired of having to shave so be happy for now.How to grow more chest hair and facial hair.?
Drew, your hormones decide how much hair you have at your age, there is nothing you can do. There is nothing to worry about; you're still young, your hormones are just not the same level as your friends. I reckon they'll stop growing before you. Don't be so impatient to grow up, I know it's hard to do. If you still look young at thirty you'll consider it a blessing. I reckon in a year or so you'll have caught them up.
be glad you do not have to shave yet- enjoy it while it lasts - your hormones will be kicking in soon and you will start shaving. Unless your asian then you may not have as much facial and body hair. Your body will mature in time- just be patient!
Dude, chicks dig baby-faced guys. Who wants like like Joe Mountainman anyway?

What facial wash doesn't dry the skin out?

great stuffWhat facial wash doesn't dry the skin out?
Yes, you can still get zits if your skin is dry.

Your skin will overproduce in oil trying to dry it out!

Go for aveeno skin wash products, although they are expensive, they contain moisturizers in them.
Hi, I am a beauty consultant and I would reccommend a product that is perfect. The item is called Miracle Set. You can order this online for about $90 it includes everything you need in a sheer packaged bag. If this does not fit your budget I reccommend just purchasing the 3n1 cleanser and the Moisturizer. This will run you about $18 for the cleanser and $22 for the moisturizer. Keep in mind that can be choosen in the oil/combination or normal/dry formula.

It is great! I use it myself for about 2 years now. It's amazing. Here is the website: http://www.marykay.com/treasures3000
    Alright, here's some facial tips:

    - When you wash your face, use bar soap, but when you lather, add a teaspoon of brown sugar and scrub gently

    - When you rinse it off and towel dry, use Olay's Dry Skin cream on your face

The lotion by Olay has worked for me for years and never failed. Neutrogena is a good brand, but pair it with moisturizer afterword.

    Good luck.

    Hope you find the answer.

    (:

    xoxo;

    Roxie!
I've tried different things, cheap and expensive and nothing is just right, either too oily or too dry. The only soap I keep going back to is Ivory bar soap. Even after I use St Ives apricot scrub I always have to finish with Ivory. And it's really cheap! I do use a moisturizer after.
i do get zits when its dry still sucks but use nevia (sp) or vaseline lotion. its the best brands for moisture
Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. This is beneficial to dry skin types. There are many helpful tips to cure dry skin at http://useinfo-dryskin.blogspot.com/

Why do I have acne in my facial hair?

I'm 17 years old and my facial hair has recently become dark enough to actually look decent grown out.

My acne, which was pretty bad for a few years, has subsided and almost completely disappeared over the past year or so.

My problem now is that every time I let my sideburns grow out, acne immediately starts forming in them. I've tried washing them like normal hair, washing them with facial cleaner, etc. Nothing seems to work.

Is this a normal problem for someone whose acne has disappeared elsewhere? Why do I have acne in my facial hair?
Keeping in mind that the acne is in the skin and not in the hair, but given that it is only in the appearance of hair that acne occurs, it is advisable not to give in for the hair.just try to keep them short or off in order to maintain your smart face.

    There are however other methods that you could use to avoid acne. Please check on the following;

    1) Your diet.

    2) ';The type of alcohol'; if you happen to consume avoid products with high concentration of isotropy alcohol.

    3) Don't squeeze or prick with pins or fingernails or anything else as this forces bacteria deep into the skin causing greater inflammation and infection. Why do I have acne in my facial hair?
Yeah My boyfriend had the same exact problem as you , the acne is in your skin not your hair

    1. Wash your face every morning and every night ,

2.Use this acne cream as soon as your done washing your face http://www.stopmyacne.info it got rid of my boyfriends in 2 weeks

    Good luck hun

    Diana xxx
well dudee i used to have acne and i never got then on my forhead until i grew my hair long and it touched my skin because hair is very oili and it gives you pimples so like i recomend shaving which sucks jeje
Try exfoliating with either a face scrub or plain white sugar. It will take off the dead surface cells that you would otherwise scrape off by shaving. Less dead cells= less junk to block your pores and cause breakouts.
their called INGROWN HAIRS, AND IF YOU DONT CLEANSE AT LEAST TWICE A DAY WITH SOAP AND WATER OR ALCHOHOL. YOU'LL GET THESE ACNE INGROWN HAIRS DUE TO PLUGGED UP POURS. YOU MUST BE TOTALLY CLEANSED. ALL DAY LONG AND BEFORE BEDTIME.
Because there is still skin under your facial hair.

The acne is not on the hair its on the skin. Normal.

Has anyone broke out using simple refreshing facial wash?

    Hi

Ive been using simple refreshing facial wash for sensitive skin for a couple of months. I use it twice a day. I notice my face broke out weeks ago, my face feels irritable and dry as well. I cant get rid of the spots that are on my forehead and cheeks. Could this be caused by simple as i thought all simple products were good for sensitive skin.

Thanks for any advice.Has anyone broke out using simple refreshing facial wash?
My advice for you is to go to the doctor. He can probably tell you a soap you can use for sensitive skin. That's what I have to do because I have sensitive skin too.Has anyone broke out using simple refreshing facial wash?
You're probly using it too often. Even if it says on the bottle to use it twice a day, your skin is maybe so sensitive that it only needs to be used once a day or even once every two or three days.

It could also be that you're using the wrong type of cleanser for your skin type. You said that your face is feeling dry so maybe you have combination skin or dry skin that needs to be treated differently.

There are ways you can find out your skin type, there are websites that will tell you. Just google it and if you find that you have combination skin try a foaming cleanser containing tee tree oil and if you find that you have dry skin then find a facial scrub with microbeads because it will remove all the dead (dry) skin cells from your face everytime you use it.

Hope this helps :) good luck x
Everyone has different skin. What works for someone may not work for you. Yes, some acne treatments can actually do more damage to your skin. Discontiue using it! Try going to a dermatologist. Also, I've found that proactive works really well for my son. But, remember it may not be right for your skin. Also, there is another type of medicine like proactive called Acne Free. you can buy it at Walmart.
I HAVE DRY PATCHES OF SKIN ON MY FACE AND I TAUGHT USING SIMPLE PRODUCTS WUD HELP... IT DIDNT MY FACE FELT DRY ALL OVER AFTER USING THE FACE WASH AND CLEANSING WIPES... Has anyone tried the vacuum and spray facial treatment machines? does it work?

I heard of those, and a person I knew tried it once. She said it didn't really work.

I do not think you should use them, since the person I knew said it didn't really make a difference, but if it's not that pricey I think you should try it. Every person's opinion's different.

  • Any ideas for a good/fun homemade facial for kids?

I'm having a 'spa' party for my 7 yr old. One of the stations will be for facials, but I don't want to do anything that will cause any allergic reactions or itchiness. Any suggestions? I was thinking oatmeal/honey or vanilla yogurt. Help!Any ideas for a good/fun homemade facial for kids?
omg i am doing the same thing except i am turning 14(same diff) anyhow

grate an apple and add enough honey to make a good texture it works amazing

another one is brown sugar and milk...i eat it off my face :P it tastes so good

1/4 of an apple, 1/2 tsp. half and half, 1 tsp. honey and 1 tbl. oatmeal... it sounds amazing and works even better!

another one is instant oatmeal, half of a mashed banana and honey. works amazingly...(PS it is a bit drippy so might want to have some cloths and its suppose to be that way)

there is just a couple of my favourites!Any ideas for a good/fun homemade facial for kids?
    Yogurt is great.

You can buy a bigger sized tub at Walmart for less than $2.

Also avocado and honey works really great.

It might be a bit messy for the 7 year olds.

Oatmeal and honey is a bit messy too.

Yogurt doesn't usually cause reactions to the face so I'm thinking that your best bet would be that.
Oatmeal and honey is great for your skin!
have a book with this face mask in it... you'd just have to get a couple things, and if you can boil water, you can do this one... I've never used it though, don't know how good it is. But it's supposed to soften your skin.

You need: 1 tbsp dried chamomile flowers, 175 ml/6 oz boiling water, 2 tbsp bran, 1 tsp clear honey - warmed

Put the chamomile flowers in a bowl %26amp; pour boiling water over them. Let them stand for 30 minutes, then strain it %26amp; throw away the flowers. Mix 3 tbsp of the chamomile water with the bran %26amp; honey. Rub this all over your face - leave it for at least 10 minutes %26amp; rinse off with warm water.

Don't know how good it is or if you can do it, but there ya go
I really wouldn't recommend applying a mask to such a young skin...masks during a facial in my experience are usually the cause (if any) of an allergic reaction and biological masks can be very effective. You could try a gentle facial cleanse and then a gentle massage with almond oil (beware of nut allergies) and finish with some fun child friendly glitter on the eyes and a little colored lip balm for fun. You could even buy some washable nail varnishes and get some gems to apply to the nails.
    oatmeal/honey is good.

    other good ideas:

pineapple or papaya (enzymes are like a mini-peel)

    avocado (very rich and moisturizing)

green tea (soothing for sensitive skin) - get the powdered kind, or mix it with something else to make it the right texture

Should i be self conscious about my facial moles?

I have around about 9 on my face and neck not to big but rather noticeable, i have been struggling with how i look to people since i was 13 im 18 now and i hardly really think about them. but when im talking to some one its always in the back of mind. So do any of you care if other people have them?Should i be self conscious about my facial moles?
Don't sweat it ... well unless they are big and fuzzy with a giant hair growing out the middle. If you are that bothered by them, go see a dermatologist. I had one removed from my chest. They give you a local and then either burn or freeze it off, neither hurts, and there is no scar to speak of. Should i be self conscious about my facial moles?
i have moles every were. but i dont look at them as ugly, there not just on my face, there all on my legs, arms and tons on my back!

its because i dont tan easily. i just burn and get moles.

mols on the face are beauty spots and there concidered sexy.

    it makes you unique

if others can't accept that then F*** em
Ah, don't worry about them. I think they're cute, so long as they aren't hairy or anything. Most people have moles on their faces. I have one right by my eye that everyone thinks is a smudge of dirt.
    Don't worry.

It's what makes you different than others, and I think it's kinda cool personally.

Are there any products that will grow facial hair fast?

im 18 and still havent grown any, are there any products i can buy at a store that will grow facial hair? Are there any products that will grow facial hair fast?
Testosterone. You'll need a prescription. Are there any products that will grow facial hair fast?
About the only way to increase facial hair is to increase the amount of testosterone in the bloodstream. A doctor could test for testosterone insufficiency and prescribe injections. But don't count on it. Facial hair also increases with age, so waiting works too. Men from some racial and genetic backgrounds have little or no facial hair even thought they have plenty of testosterone. And testosterone injections have side effects, like increased aggression and shrinkage of the testicles.

    * Try using the Firaus oil or firdaus oil. Available online. Shave frequently in the process. Apply twice a day.

    * Try applying a DiHydroTestosterone cream named Androstanolone. It is avaialable in brand name andractim.

    * Andractim is used for breast growth, not hair growth

    * Rogaine is sometimes used to grow facial and/or body hair.

    Shaving:

    Opinions that it helps:

    * Shaving a lot does help. It's not an urban legnd. If you shave every morning your skin will develop a resistance increasing the thickness and amout of hair growth in the shaved area. It's definately a credible alternative to applying products.

    * Shaving does make hair more course.

    * Severing the hair at the base of the shaft causes the hair growing in the follicle to compensate for the added wieght which will have to be handled. It is a physiological response to an external stimulus.

    * One way you can think of why hair feels coarser after shaving is, like when you break a toothpick in half, it is easy, then break one half in half, it is harder, and continually gets harder the smaller the piece. This is based on the principle of levers and leverage. The closer you are to the fulcrum, or in this case the break point, the more force needs to be applied to break or bend it. Short hair is harder to bend than long hair. As for shaving helping, it doesn't. You may grow more hair after shaving, but that would be pure coincidence considering you continually grow more hair over time. While you have been growing any current growth on your face, more hair folicals are beginning to grow and therefore when you shave, you put any hair you currently have, back to the same lengthe as the new hair coming in. Next time your hair grows out, it will include all of the shorter new hairs, meaning more facial hair. You don't need to be a doctor to understand that.

    Opinions that it doesn't help:

    * Shaving will not do anything for hair growth at all one way or another. Hair growth is completely dependent on genetics and hormones. Shaving is just mechanically cutting existing hair at the surface of the skin. You cannot produce more hair by shaving. The reason why shaved hair seems coarser is simply because the hair is cut off bluntly and is newly growing out. Body and faciai hair growth doesn't stop at young adulthood--most men get hairier as they grow older. This is due to the continued exposure of the hair follicles to androgens (male hormones) which causes new beard and body hairs to develop from the hair follicles. It has nothing to do with shaving habits. If you are a young man and don't grow a very good beard, waiting is probably the best strategy -- you might grow in a better one as you get older, unless your lack of beard growth is caused by not producing enough androgens, in which case you should see a doctor about it. If you are of Asian or Native American ancestry, you might not grow much facial or body hair at all.

    * Shaving more often does not increase facial hair growth, that is only an urban legend. It all depends on your genetics and/or testosterone level.

    * Shaving does not help. People get this impression because when you shave, the 锟絜nds锟?or points of the hairs become blunt instead of soft. So it feels rougher, but the growth is the same. The hair might look darker but it is only because the length is uniform. One theory for the origin of the myth that shaving makes a beard grow faster is that humans perceive change by proportion. For example: going from ';zero'; to half an inch in a month is really noticeable; adding a half an inch to a beard that's already (say) 2 inches long is a much less noticeable change. In the first case, it's a ';100%'; proportional change, while in the second case, it's only a 25% change. So even if a beard is growing at a constant half an inch per month, it will *seem* to grow faster at the beginning and slow down as it gets longer, because the proportion of change is dropping. Some of the other readers are getting increased facial due to the onset of PUBERTY and not because they shave more frequently.
i heard if you shave it it will grow more faster and thicker xD

My facial moisteriser expired last month, is it safe to still use it?

How long can we safely keep using these kinds of products after their expiration date?

I bought the product I'm using overseas and it's not available in my country so I'll have to wait until a friend can bring a new one over.My facial moisteriser expired last month, is it safe to still use it?
If it's only been expired for a month, it's probably fine. Has the color turned funny? Does it smell weird? Has the consistency of the product changed (ie, is it thicker, runnier, clumpier, than it was when you got it)? Has the product become uneffective, or is it giving you some new and unwelcome side effects (ie, making you break out)? If all of the above is a resounding ';no';, then your moisturizer is probably fine.

I've definitely used moisturizers and lotions well past the expiration date with no ill effects, and depending on the type of packaging, bacteria getting into the product probably won't even be a concern. If your moisturizer is in a pot or tub that you have to dip your fingers into, then there might be a bacteria issue, but if it's in a squeeze tube, pump bottle, or some other type of packaging where your fingers aren't coming into contact with the product every day, then it's not near as likely that there's any sort of bacteria issue.

IMHO the best thing to do is just examine in the product. If it looks or smells like it's starting to turn bad, then pitch it, but if it seems fine and works fine, there's no reason to throw it out.My facial moisteriser expired last month, is it safe to still use it?
    NO!! bacteria
NO!! bacteria might infect it and make ur skin worst...

Why do i have to wax my facial hair more than once per week?

it seems to just get worse and worse and the breakouts and ingrown hairs are horrible. It's so time consuming and back breaking for me too? Yet if i just shave, i get stubble by the end of the day and it seems like i break out more with shaving. Help! Why do i have to wax my facial hair more than once per week?
Maybe you're a werewolf? Or Big-foots cousin. Stop being upset. im nearly 19 and would kill for facial hair like that. im still shaving bum-fluff off my chin. :( but if it bothers you that much i think you can get laser treatment? Why do i have to wax my facial hair more than once per week?
You give no indication of whether you are male or female.

If you are male, then the answer is, that's what facial hair does. It's just life. When you shave make sure your face is clean beforehand, use a razor and shave gel for sensitive skin. Also, use a moisturising aftershave balm for sensitive skin. Your skin will eventually get used to shaving and stop breaking out.

If you are female, it's one of those problems which some women have to deal with especially if their pigmentation is dark. You cold try laser treatment which is becoming very popular and more affordable.

There is a tiny chance that there may be some cause for concern medically and you should see your doctor for tests for various hormonal disorders. DON'T just look this up on the internet because you will just scare yourself - see your doctor for a measured, informed diagnosis (or more likely non-diagnosis).

  • Why do all the men I like have the same hair and eye color/facial structure?

I know that my preferences must reveal something about the personality types I'm attracted to, ect. As much information as anyone can provide on the topic would be greatly appreciated. Why do all the men I like have the same hair and eye color/facial structure?
This could be something as simple as you falling in love with a movie character when you were little. Try to think back to when this all started. Why do all the men I like have the same hair and eye color/facial structure?
The answer is simple. The first thing that usually attracts someone to a person is physical appearance. So, if you are mostly attracted to men with a certain eye color, and facial structure it's what you look for physically. And as you start to develop a relationship with that person, two things can happen. A) You get along well and develop an actual relationship B) You simply don't get along. So although their appearances are the same, their personalities are different you are first attracted to physical appearance. Hope this helps.
Looks like you, as what is most common for everyone, go after what you are familiar with. This is one of the principles of the mating scene: to search for what is comfortable; usually what you were influenced by your role models were when you were young: whether father, older brother, uncle, stepfather, mother's boyfriend, sisters boyfriend, etc.

Cause that's what your most attracted to.

my friend gets a facial every months and she said its extremely painful, annoying and you have to keep putting on a medicated concealer afterwards. Its really not worth it if you just have an average amount of pimples.

it doesnt have any bad side affects except the painnGood answers will be rated. Is Doing Facial Have side effects or is it harmful to the skin????
Facial could be harmful if it's done in a wrong way.

Also it is too early to do facial at 15,

the result may be opposite to your expectation.

It is normal to have pimples at this age because of hormones.

Just wash your face properly, not over doing it,

    and take some vitamin B,

have enough sleep and not to eat oily and greasy food,

they should be going away soon.
The best way to get rid of acne is to have a daily routine of cleaning your face using a product that works well for your skin... for my skin it happens to be biotherm. I would watch out for facials.. not only can they get pretty expensive.. especially if you are doing them often but your skin may not react the way you want it to. For example i went for my first facial 6 months ago and my skin totally broke out in hives.. i have never been allergic to anything in my life and it just so happens that something they put on my face made my skin react. It is different for everyone. Try it out (i wouldn't advise a beauty school) and see if it works for you! good luck!
i use rubbing alcohol about 2 times a day, and that cleared my face up. and once its clear you just use it when ever you feel a break out coming. just put some on your washrag,(enough to cover a 2X2 inch square and then wipe your face down, try in on a white washrag and you will just see how much oil and dirt you can get out, its gross the first couple of times!
I have sensitive skin, I've tried facials, but all they've ever done is clog my pores and make me break out worse.

Neutrogena on the spot has been ok for me, and I'm on tretinoin (Retin-A) now and it's doing wonderful things for me.

Bottom line though, You should get a referral to a dermatologist who can asses your skin type and tell you what you really need. Hope this is helpful.
I do not know of any proof that they will help but anything that cleans the pores should. There are many natural facials you can do that you can even do once a week that would never hurt you. See below or do a search for natural facials
A good facial will not harm the skin and can improve it's appearance. If you use chemicals, you just need to make sure they are right for your skin type and are being used correctly. There are many facials that are all natural and don't use chemicals.
I'm not sure what type of facial you talking about. most products used in a facial are gentle and can be done one to two times per week. the only thing to consider is if you have acne facials can spread germs and stimulate the skin and cause more acne
Acne is just a part of growing up. Just try to remember to clean your face and it'll keep pimples minimal. They will still happen though.
no, facials are good for you, why else would people get them? especilly if you ahve bad acne
(**** you themonay!!!!!!@ ******* *****!!!! stop spamming!!!!!!!!!!YOUR VIDEO SUCKS ***) Just don't touch your face and you wont get pimples ok?
ummm i really don't know why son't u try proactive my grandma is using it and she said it does work!! good look my friend!!!.. are u hott? is ur name summer? cux ur name is pretty hott.. j/p lol
Facial is not going to help but Proactiv will help!

What is the best type of facial moisturizer that I can get from the Drug store that wont make me break out?

SPF is a plus. What is the best type of facial moisturizer that I can get from the Drug store that wont make me break out?
Eucerin Anti-Redness and Cetaphil are very good + inexpensive moisturizers for sensitive skin. What is the best type of facial moisturizer that I can get from the Drug store that wont make me break out?
    Thanks! Report Abuse

You want to get a light moisturizer that is oil free. The excess oil is what digs deep into your pores, stores itself and becomes those ghastly cysts on our face. If your looking for a drug store brand I would stick to Neutrogena such as their:

    http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

Or clean and clear such as:

    http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>

They both run around the same price for under 10 dollars. You want to apply it especially at night, and about 30 min before makeup is applied.

Just like I said stick to the oil free and if you see it is hypo allergenic then that is good so it wont disturb the skin from any breakouts.

good luck I understand this stage, I am almost 20 with dry skin and acne....I hate that acne has a mind of its own lol.
Clean %26amp; Clear has several good moisturizers~~ I was checking the webpage this morning.

One that sounds good is called Soft Day Moisturizer. Its oil free, lightweight, %26amp; spf is 15.

I'm a member there because I use other Clean %26amp; Clear products. Anyway, you can get a coupon for Soft Day if you want to try it.

If your face is sensitive %26amp; maybe a bit oily then try aloe vera to moisturize~~ it shouldnt break you out either.

Oil of Olay Complete is a favorite at my house~~ I have 4 sisters %26amp; my Mom~~ we all use it. This is for sensitive skin %26amp; has spf 15 in it. Its a wonderful moisturizer.

You can buy all these at drug stores %26amp; they arent too expensive.
I use Neutrogena Oil-Free moisturiser which works well. I use the combination-oily but I know they have an SPF one. If you use it sparingly (sometimes I think my skin's too dry and I use too much, making it more oily) then it should work out well.
Olay Sensitive Complete with SPF 15
    Aveeno
Garnier fructis. It comes in a green bottle. IT SMELLS AWSOME.

Facial mole removed by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist?

My facial mole is about 1/2 centimeter in diameter and it's located at the bridge of my nose near my eye. A plastic surgeon charges me $350 to get it removed and a dermatologist charges $200. I heard a plastic surgeon is preferred when getting a facial mole removed because they are trained and have the experience to give you a result with minimal scarring. What do you guys suggest I should do?Facial mole removed by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist?
i agree go to a plastic surgeon its better to be safe than sorryFacial mole removed by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist?
I work in surgery and I've seen many nice wound closures by doctors other than plastic surgeons. As a matter of fact, my dermatologist removed a growth from my back in February and the scar is not visible. If the mole is small enough that your dermatologist can do it in the office I would consider it.
That's a tough one I think I'd stick to the dermatologist because it's a mole and he's likely removed more then the plastic surgeon - I am pretty sure he will ensure you won't scar as well as the other doctor - and if he felt it was out of his 'hands' with a scar he may send you to the surgeon anyway.

If it's raised it will be biopsied anyway to ensure it's just a simple mole - I have had a lot of moles removed by a general MD and Dermatologist. I'm still here to give advice.

i had one removed by my dermatologist and i had no scar left...

Has anyone out there undergone a facial hair transplant?

I have very little facial hair. My moustache is thin and soft and my beard only grows in one spot. People in my family naturally have little facial or body hair. I've tried Minoxidil (which didn't work), so now I'm looking into facial hair transplant, specifically FUE. So my question is, has anyone out there undergone facial hair transplant? If so, are you satisfied with the results? How much did it cost? I'm also looking for recommendations as far as doctors who perform this procedure and also before %26amp; after photos. Why when i do my weekly facial exfoliating regime do i come out in spots?

It seems pointless as i'm doing it to avoid getting spots in the first place...is there any way i can prevent this? the one i use is Estee Lauder it works well and makes my skin feel good and it costs a fortune so i don't think its product i'm using.

Any suggestionsWhy when i do my weekly facial exfoliating regime do i come out in spots?
First of all, ignore evryone telling you to forget exfo (exfoliator) and buy soap or 'wash properly'.

Cleansing the skin alone does NOT take away the top layer of dead skin.

Secondly, you need to be using exfo twice a week, and your spots may be caused by the exfo yes, but it may be because it is drawing out the rubbish in your skin.

For example, i did a facial on my friend wjo has really dull skin, but no spots, and two days later she moaned at me because she had spots.

I told her that all the products (Elemis) were drawing the toxins out that were already there, underneath the skin.

When i asked about her diet, she eats a lot of fatty foods, burgers, fry ups etc.

So could this be the cause?

Without knowing your skin type or what other products you use/how often you use them and your diet, its hard to say if its the products causing it.

If your going to spend a lot on a product, you might as well go for a professional product, such as Elemis, Dermalogica, Decleor etc

This way you could have a facial at a salon, where the therapist will advise you which products to use for your skin. Why when i do my weekly facial exfoliating regime do i come out in spots?
Maybe your skin is too sensitive for these products try like I do simple unfrangrances soaps daily.
    Do it daily!

Also any exfoliant will do, don't waste money on an expensive one.
it is because when you exfoliate, you bring the crap to the surface, that is also why if you have a date or an important event you should never do a face mask just before it! x
Perhaps the exfolitor is too harsh for your skin? Try using a masque directly afterwards on your skin, as this will draw out impurities from deep down in the pores. All you are doing by exfoliating is removing the dead skin cells, you also need to clear the pores.

    Try Dermologica products. Amazing.
Your skin must be prone to acne. If it is, then you should go nowehere near a scrubbing product. The product will only aggravate the pimples, break them and spread them. You could, however, use products that are mildly exfoliating, such as the ones that contain fruit acids.

No matter what the ';experts'; say, exfoliating granules are NOT for everybody.
Most likely u have sensitive skin,as i do. Go to the dermatologist to be on the safe side i'm sure you don't want to mess up your beautiful skin.
STOP buying expensive products. go to a pharmacist and buy a good facial soap for sensitive skin (you may be getting these spots cause of your skin being very sensitive) - preferably with a pH of about 5. wash twice a day morning and evening, and avoid using oily creams and hopefully your skin will stop breaking out. this worked for me, from what i can see we were having the same problem. try it out? it worked for me so it might for you.
u did not write this gramatically correct?

    I wonder WHY,DOT.DOT,DOT.
You may be rubbing too hard and inflaming the skin. I use a baby brush on my face everyday, and it gently whisks away dead cells, maybe the temperature of the water is too hot??? Are you rinsing all of it away??? Maybe there is an ingredient in the product that you are allergic to??
Wash properly instead of buying expensive emolients and creams that blatantly don't work but make a lot of money for the cosmetic industry!! Whuy they have not been done under the Trades Decription Act I will never know!!
i used estee lauder. i now use benefit exfolitor which is much much better. i useed to have the same problem. i think you will find its because you are drawing out the impuraties from your skin, thats why it looks bad for a while. i started my facial regime 6 weeks before my wedding to get my skin in tip top condition and for about 3-4 weeks i looked like an acne ridden teenager again! then it looked great so it must be the same type of thing.
My suggestions would be that maybe you are scrubbing the product in too hard and when rinsing. Otherwise you may just have sensitive skin. I recently tried the new nivea exfoliating pads and they work well and are moisturising too.
stop using it if this happens each and every time u use the exfoliator.

if ur using an exfoliator with irregular shaped scrubs that has sharp edges, it could be irritating ur skin, which causes spots to erupt.

start using one with little round beads like neutrogena invigorating foaming scrub. its less irritating. i use this (and i have oily, acne-prone skin) and it works really well and its veryy gentle. plus it feels good when u massage it into ur skin. :]

  • Why are girls with tattoos and facial piercings considered trashier or easier than girls with none?

I AM not saying they are, but I've heard guys say that girls with visible tattoos and facial piercings are ';easier to bag'; because they don't care about their bodies or society's mores as much as girls with no tattoos or facial piercingsWhy are girls with tattoos and facial piercings considered trashier or easier than girls with none?
hmmm.. idk.. but prob bc they tend 2 do more drastic things, cuz after a piercing or w/e they think wow that wasnt bad, what else can i do?...they prob have higher self esteem than girls w/o.. girls w/o are still in the ohh idkkk stage of their lives, and wont just at risks or chances like ppl with tattoos or piercings would. yet again this is a stereotype. there are girls like that out there, who dont care about their bodies, and then there are girls who have a ton of piercings who care about their bodies more than you know. it depends on the person. Why are girls with tattoos and facial piercings considered trashier or easier than girls with none?
Because thats how ';society'; see's it.

People judge people by there cover and not by whats inside.

Someone without tattoos or piercings would be seen as someone who takes care of themself, with class, or is just more acceptable to ';societies'; Image of how a person should look or dress.

IMO someone with piercings must take care of themselves or else it would allways have infections. LoL-
well, it depends, for example tongue rings are used as a SEX toy. (you know what i mean). and well morals, usually rich preppy girls don't have tattoos all over their body... i don't know it depends.... personally think that guys with tattoos are male whores lol, or its like me for example if a guy has a visible tattoo i don't date them... it makes them seem trashy (or non clean)
i honestly don't know. i think it looks good. it all has to do with their perception of themselves. if they do it because they are already trashy then yea. if they just like to express themselves then definately not.
They do say it... But it's hardly true. Its nothing to do with whether people have tattoos or piercings or not, I believe people can make their own choices, and do what they want.
thats not true a guy that thinks that is a scum bag
they have bad parenting and loose morals
they dont have very good morals

Why Do Young Men Begin Growing Facial Hair From Chin?

Why is the chin a signature area for growing facial hair at an early stage? I known it usually begins with both hair on chin and upper lip, but is there more testosterone that goes toward your chin. Im 23 and can't grow a full beard much less a decent mustache, but i can grow a thick bush on my chin. Why Do Young Men Begin Growing Facial Hair From Chin?
Not all guys grow hair there on me its completely smooth ( my hcin)

and i started growing facial hair on my side burnsWhy Do Young Men Begin Growing Facial Hair From Chin?
    It's different for different guys.

I got sideburns before I got chin hair.

I still have a small bald spot just under the curve of my chin.
thats not necessarily true when i first start growing facial hair it stated at the lip then got beard so it all depends on factors of genetics
My chin came in first actually, I was just turning 13.

Red bumps when i let my facial hair grow?

When i shave my facial hair there are no red bumps, but when i let it grown out i start to notice little red bumps under each hair. It looks nasty, how can i prevent this?Red bumps when i let my facial hair grow?
I get this on my legs sometimes, I think it's ingrown hairs. I prevent it by not shaving quite so close. Instead of shaving against the grain, I shave with the grain.

But if it's not ingrown hairs, maybe it's something to do with the cuticles. Hmm, I just had an idea, try washing your face with dandruff shampoo. Hey can't hurt to try it once.Red bumps when i let my facial hair grow?
    they're ingrown hairs. nasty, really.

try shaving down or up or either side that the hair grows towards. that way, you won't get those as often

I want to make a face mask out of stuff I have at home 2 make my skin softer. I prolly dont have much 2 chose from so wt can I use? give me mask recipes plzHow can I make a homade facial mask?
    1. This mixture with exfoliate and norish your skin at the smae time. Great for combination skin.

    Ingredients:

    1/2 banana

    1/2 avacado

    2 Tbsp full-fat yogurt

    1 tsp olive oil

    Instructions:

Puree all ingredients in a blender. Apply to freshly cleaned face and leave on for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water and pat dry.

    Ingredients:

    1/2 banana

    2 tablespoons yogurt

    1 tablespoon honey

    Instructions:

Mash the banana with a fork then mix in honey and yogurt. Apply to your face evenly. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water or soft wash cloth.

    Ingredients:

1陆 tsp green clay (French is preferred)

    陆 tsp kaolin clay

    1陆 tbsp aloe vera gel

    1 tbsp rosewater

    2 drops rose essential oil

    Preparation:

Mix green and kaolin clays together.

Add in the aloe vera gel, rosewater and oils.

Refrigerate mixture for up to four weeks.

1 cup natural yogurt (we like it just-out-of-the-fridge cold)

陆 cup oatmeal (any type of basic oatmeal works here)

    Preparation:

    Mix the ingredients together.

Apply to the skin for 10-15 minutes.

Wash off mask with a washcloth steamed in the microwave (careful that it's not too hot).

Two other fun options for oatmeal face masks:

Egg whites. Mix the oatmeal and an egg white. Let the mixture dry on face, then gently wash off with a few splashes of warm water. Follow with a steaming washcloth to the face.

Peptol-Bismol. A friend of mine uses Pepto-Bismol with oatmeal for her masks. She got this tip years ago from a magazine. She suggests the active ingredient (bismuth subsalicylate) in Pepto-Bismol soothes your stomach as well as your face.

    1 tsp powdered milk

    1 tbsp runny honey

    1 tsp aloe vera gel

    2 drops essential oil

    Preparation:

This is a classic milk mask for the face. Mix ingredients well, apply to face, let sit for 15 minutes, wash off with warm water. This recipe is enough for two. (Note: The original recipe called for 1 tbsp pulverized almonds, but I have removed it from the ingredients list because almonds, no matter how pulverized, can tear at skin).

Tea Tree's astounding healing qualities were used by the Aborigines. It is also known to have powerful germicidal and antiseptic effects. Tea Tree helps support the immune system. The essential oil is a powerful, antiseptic that kills bacteria, fungi and virus 12 times as effectively as carbolic. In aromatherapy it is used for cold sores, athletes foot, nail fungus, toenail fungus, cuts, burns, acne, herpes and nappy rash.
What is great for your skin is tea tree oils its can be expensive but moisterizes your skin it also slows the process of wrinkles!!!!!!!!!!

Is it safe to use acne facial wash with salicylic acid during your 1st trimester?

Ok I have found out I am expecting...again. However I always break out when I am pregnant. My little one is now 3 so I don't remember the ';do's and don't's';. I don't see my OB until the end of the month so I called the pharmacist. She said NO WAY....searching online the results are half and half. So I am curious is it yea or nay and WHY? Thanks! Is it safe to use acne facial wash with salicylic acid during your 1st trimester?
    Yes,

    100%safe,.

wash twice a day,.on shower and before bed time, dont over use like more than 3 times,.it will dry u r skin and make it like rashes around so use it mild and pressure free while scrubbing.

    Dont use soap,.

    Dont use oil contained products,.

    Try loreal pure zone

or netrogena 123 Rapid clear formula

these products has salicylic acid.Is it safe to use acne facial wash with salicylic acid during your 1st trimester?
My physician said it was ok. He suggested using a 1% salicylic acid face wash and Neutrogena face pads and it has helped. I would wait and see what your doctor says because they may want you to wait until after the first trimester.
I would stick with the pharmacist. My doctor is an older man and sticks with the old school ways. He only allows a mild face wash (Face Soap) and a lotion. I have done that my whole pregnancy, and my zits look bad. I can't wait until I can use pro-active agian. :)
yes! i use it every day, plus a special salicylic soap. my mother goes to school for skin care and says its okay to use

Do you have to take out facial piercings to work at Subway?

do you have to take out facial piercings if you work at subway?

how much do you make per hour for working part time?Do you have to take out facial piercings to work at Subway?
I actually just got hired at Subway last night, and have the big packet full of process and procedures there.

Quoted straight out of the packet -

    C. JEWELRY

    - No facial jewelry except on ears. Stud earrings only.

    - No rings with exception of wedding ring

    - Watches are allowed.

As for wage, it depends on your state and minimum wage, and the subway, I'm starting out at 7.25$ / hourDo you have to take out facial piercings to work at Subway?
Technically, no, you do not have to take out facial piercings. They do, however have to be covered up.

I worked as a waitress for three years, and even nose rings had to be covered up with band-aids.

The good thing about most chain restaurants like Subway is that most managers don't take that rule seriously. So you may be able to get away with keeping your piercing in.

Minimum wage depends on what state you live in. It can range anywhere from $6.15 - $8.15. I know in PA, where I live, minimum wage is $7.15 and going up to $7.25 this summer.

Use this map to find out how much it is in your state: http://www.dol.gov/esa/minwage/america.h鈥?/a>
Depends on what one you work at. At the one near my house there was a who wore a sweatshirt with a hand flipping someone off on the back! Plus all the facial piercings! So ya, it doesn't really matter.
No, I don't think so, I saw a guy working there the other day that had a facial piercing
I've seen people working there with piercings, so I would guess no.

How good are Clean and Clear facial products?

I was just introduced to Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst facial products by Johnsons, but I found out that the toners/astringents contain Alcohol-especially SD alcohol to be precise. Are they good for the skin? I formerly used Neutrogena products but they are expensive for me to maintain. The Clen %26amp; Clear are somewhat cheaper. How good are Clean and Clear facial products?
I tried Clean and Clear before but it was too harsh for me or something because it totally dried out my face even when I put on moisturizer... but it may be different for you...

The SD alcohol is what helps to dry out the face so it's good or bad depending on how oily or dry your face is... generally though, I'd say that it's not so good because it could overdry... you may want to read this... http://vm.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/cos-227.htm鈥?/a>

I use Cetaphil Cleanser and Cetaphil Moisturizer because it's more gentle. It cost about the same and to me, it lasts longer too.

The only product I use from Clean and Clear are the Oil Absorbing Sheets that prevent shine during the day...

Hope this helped... =)How good are Clean and Clear facial products?
I get Clean and Clear face was for sensative skin, that way there is nothing harsh in there. And if you get pimples their Persa-Gel 10 (benzoyl peroxide) works really good. Also, if you have oily skin their oil absorbing sheets work great. I'd stay away from astringents because all astringents have alcohol in them and they will strip away the natural oils your skin produces resulting in dry skin. For pimples use the Persa-Gel 10 cream.
Clean and Clear products tend to dry out your face more since they use harsh ingredients. although more expensive, Neutrogena is generally better. my dermatologist suggested using Neutrogena products, and they work just fine for me.
because I had oily skin, clean and clear was as good as using a bar of soap to me, I have been using Noxzema in the shower and washing it off once I get out and it has worked wonders for me! Oh and I use mouthwash with alcohol on soon to be pimples and that works really good too!
well i used to have this really ugly blackheads (eww i know) and then i started usin clean and clear. they actually did help and got them off. just in time for the 8th grade dance!! lol

you should try using them... they normally do work

What is the treatment for facial skin pores?

ive always had pores and acne scars in the last couple of years.its realy bothering me.have u ever seen ,heared or experianced any kind of treatment for it?What is the treatment for facial skin pores?
After many years of research I found this to be the quickest, safest, most effective treatment. Massage with a quite strong, vigorous motion with a forward and back motion using finger tips and front and sides of fingers depending where you are massaging. Some may tell you to massage gently but it's been only beneficial for many who have tried it.(see my B.A) I know that oil, massage oil or whatever, is always associated with breakouts but there are many on Answers with acne scars, large pores and oily skins who have benefited by it (I have emails from those who swear by it). The massaging friction forces a clearer skin to emerge with pores and scars greatly reduced - see almost immediate results and in 4 to 7 days, depending on how vigorously you massage, they wil be nearly gone. Best to massage daily for 15 to 20 min. Skin has to adjust %26amp; if soreness, or reactions happen - stop %26amp; resume when you can. Totally and permanently rid my skin of pimples, large pores, scars and marks and gave me a flawless, healthy skin.

Source(s): 20+ years of research into natural treatments and cures of skin problems and anti aging treatments..What is the treatment for facial skin pores?
for one everyone has pores all over there body some people have bigger ones then others and acen scars can be a cause of why yours might look so big go to a derm and get a micro derm and maybe some face cream to help keep the old produced in them under control and make them look smaller birth control pills can also help with controling the oil glands on the face and help make your pores look smaller and also control break outs
I'm going to get my scars removed soon too. Go to a med spa or look one up on line and do some research and find out which treatment(s) are best for you.

    Here is what I suggest: a book titled, ';Bath %26amp; Beauty Splash';

    By Harriet Hubbard Ayer.

It has some really good oatmeal. avocado and pomegranate mask recipes.

Get some of your friends and make it a spa facial party. They would love to make their own facial and have each other apply it.

When rinsing face always use cool water because it helps to prevent aging and tightens skin. Warm or hot water promotes the aging process of encouraging wrinkles and dry skin.

Has anyone ever heard of the Golden Ratio being used to measure facial beauty?

I really like the Oil of Olay facial moisturizer. You don't need a lot of it and it's not heavy and greasy.

I'm in the dermatology field. We recommend cetaphil, oil of olay, neutrogena alot. they have lighter ones, and nice thick ones for winter, and are good for your skin. get one with sunscreen also, and you're protected also.
yea i really like ';Moisture Surge'; and/or ';Dramatically Different';. im pretty sure theyre both by Clinique. they really hydrate the skin and are oil free so they dont clog your pores. also, the Moisture Surge comes in a spray which is nice and convenient.

well I'd suggest something such as Aloe Vera...the aloe vera gel

there are plenty of long term treatments....but Aloe WILL sooth it....and it will take away some redness...not as good as some other things....but the good thing about Aloe is that you cant go wrong with it....its mild yet affective...try it..you'll like it!

dont get the aloe vera gel with lidocaine....lidocaine is almost like the ingredient in Vix....menthol...it feels good on skin but it MIGHT cause your skin to temporarily redden even more

put some aloe lotion on it that will cool it off and relieve some redness and if that doesnt work apply some foundation really lightly over it since your a guy you definately dont want it to look like your wearing make up

The typical features of koreans are slim eyes, bigger cheek bones and flat face. However, for koreans who don't fall into this category, generally speaking, they are amongst the prettiest people in east asia.

Geographyically, they are very close to the north eastern part of china, so they look very similar to that part of chinese people.

Just make sure you clean it everyday more than once a day if ya can and dont keep taking it out but you should be good other than that. if you notice it staring to hurt real bad and it start getting red and puffy take it out immediately cause it would suck to have a nasty scar there. anywho good luck and i bet that piercing is gonna look AWESOME!How can i make a facial peircing NOT get rejected?

It can be just called a cheek piercing.

But, it is also know as a Marilyn piercing.

After you get it pierced, you can't put the normal amount of pressure on your cheek or cheekbone, for a while. Like, talking brings a lot of pressure. Not that you shouldn't talk. But things like that.

    Hope this helps!

Umm... It's a surface piercing, so there is always the chance of rejection.

Hm. All I can say is to clean it normally (when you get it ;] ), and it should be fine.

I'm pretty sure you can't actually control the chance of rejection though :/
owww that lukz like it hurt to get peirced...umm idk..sorreh. =)

How do I reduce bulky facial cheeks?

I used to have better jaw lines and a more cutting face, but these days even though I am fit and not fat, my facial cheeks are bulky. how do I make my jaw lines more apparent? How do I reduce bulky facial cheeks?
There's not a lot you can do about your face shape, aside from weight loss-but you don't need that. Learn some shading techniques with makeup to accentuate cheekbones. How do I reduce bulky facial cheeks?
thats a really good question....i have no clue! sorry ..hope you get the answer
To accent the jawline use a light shimmery powder down the jawline and extend upward...use a bronzer (not too dark) under your jaw line and blend downward as well as upward...The light reflects off the jawline and the bronzer will create a shadow below it...this will also help with your cheeks. Suck in your cheeks and fill the hallowed areas with a darker blush...now on the apples of your cheeks and above the hallowed areas apply a lighter pink shimmery blush...a ta da supermodel cheeks!!
I would try using makeup to give the illusion of a strong jawline. Try bronzer or blush
Highlight the parts you want to stand out and shade the parts you don't.

To highlight your jawline, use a light, mineral shadow or foundation. Using a brush, draw a line on your jawline and then blend outward. Then, increase the shadowed area with a darker foundation (darker than your natural skintone) and blend. For example, just below your jawline, draw a line using the darker foundation and blend downward.

This works for broad noses as well. (I do it all the time for a friend's nose.)

Best way to remove minor facial hair?

I'm sure nobody else notices it, but I'm a bit self-conscious about the minor hair on my upper lip.

What is the best way to get rid of it?

I have sensitive skin, so keep that in mind.

Thanks!Best way to remove minor facial hair?
It depends on how sensitive your skin is, how high your pain threshold is, what colour your hair and skin are, what you're currently using on your face, and how much time you're willing to invest.

Waxing is fine if you have a high pain threshold and are not using any Vitamin-A-based products (often starting with ';retin...';) or other creams that make your skin delicate. Delicate skin can *peel off* if waxed, removing all but the youngest layers, as I unfortunately discovered the hard way.

Shaving is alright if you're short on time and have fine hair, because shaving cuts the ends bluntly, and that can make thicker hairs even more obvious when they grow back. It's a myth that shaving makes your hair grow thick, since blunt-cut tips just look thicker. Seriously, though, use shaving gel; if you irritate the skin enough, you can look like you have a red moustache.

Bleaching can work if you have very little hair, although it looks bizarre on darker skin. If it turns out too obvious, you may have to remove the hair anyways.

Tweezing is good if you have a reasonably high pain threshold and are willing to spend the time (it's fast enough if you're willing to go fast, but most people don't like to do that at first). It's also the option that irritates the skin the least; you pull out the hair, rather than yanking something sticky off your skin or dragging a razor over it.

I'll mention now that the ';plucking'; types of hair removal (waxing, tweezing, epilating) all hurt most the first time and then get easier, but you can invest in a over-the-counter numbing gel. Repeatedly plucking a hair can also alter its growth, and often eventually making it stop growing.

Epilating is like waxing, only without bothering your skin. If you can find a small epilator, my experience (on legs, mind you) is that epilating is the more comfortable option. It does hurt a bit, but it's faster than tweezing.

Depilatory creams are usually not good for sensitive skin, but maybe they've gotten better since I tried them (or maybe I just had bad luck). They are supposed to dissolve the hair, giving you the benefits of plucking without any pain. You should probably moisturize beforehand, and follow the instructions carefully. Pick one for sensitive skin, and ask someone that you think ought to know which cream would be best.

Or you could look into permanent hair removal options like laser hair removal. I don't know much about those, other than that they're expensive.Best way to remove minor facial hair?
Shave it. You can use any shaver that suits you.

Make sure you have some shaving cream. Fold both your lips in and rub the shaving cream all above your upper lip. Shave upwards to prevent cuts or missing hairs.

Because you said you had sensitive skin, be sure to wash that area with soap after to prevent getting a rash.
DO NOT SHAVE UPWARDS OR AGAINST THE GRAIN ON YOUR SKIN! if you have sensitive skin you'll get razor bumps easier by shaving against hair on your skin. by a nice single blade razor to reduce irritation, and by a sensitive skin shaving cream or gel i found it works better. be sure to warm your face with warm damp cloth it reduces hairs rigidness making for smoother shave.
Don't shave it. Sally's Beauty has at home upper lip wax kits that are fairly inexpensive. Just do it every 2-4 weeks depending on your hair growth.

    Hope this helps!

BTW I've started a youtube advice column for questions like this.

whatever you do DO NO SHAVE.. it will grow back worse, and quickly.

Either wax (there are waxes on the market for sensitive skin) or pluck them with tweezers if there are only a couple of troublesome hairs there.
DO NOT SHAVE IT. it will grow back worse. mine is blonde and barely noticeable. i use tweezers on the few hairs that but me. that may in time make it come back coarse too, but so far, so good. If it gets out of control, i would do electrolysis or laser treatement.
DON'T shave it unless your a man i don't know what these girls are thinking

    wax it i do
    Use Haldi (Yellow Powder)
Grow it out get it trimmed nicely so people mistake you for a man
