Why are you only supposed to use some facial creams before bed?

What difference does it make that you are sleeping? Why are you only supposed to use some facial creams before bed?
Night creams are thicker, and they also tend to have a higher vitamin A content which is good for acne, blackheads and wrinkles. But vitamin A also makes the skin more prone to sun burn. Why are you only supposed to use some facial creams before bed?
Night creams are thicker. This is because, when you sleep, your skin absorbs more moisture. The thicker moisturizer adds more moisture. A thin one would be absorbed to quickly.
You get less sun/dirt-bacteria exposure when you're sleeping. Those creams need to stay on for a while in order for it to work properly.
NEVER apply soap to your face - NEVER!

My mother was a model and she never applied soap to her face. When she was eighty her skin looked fifty. When she passed over, her skin was so beautiful and clear.

I use Oil of Olay to remove my makeup at night.
Well I know for anti-aging creams for wrinkles, it is recommended you put it on before going to bed because that ensures that you will have the cream on your face for an entire 7 hours.
